We reported back in October that China's Shanghai Automotive Industrial Corp. planned to introduce its recently purchased Rover 75 as the Roewe 750 at next year's Shanghai Auto Show.

Now pictures have turned up that seem to indicate SAIC's plans for the Rover 25. The spied car closely resembles Rover's Streetwise a macho-ed up Rover 25.

Does the Chinese manufacturer plan to show a version of the 25 at the Shanghai show as well? We'll know in late April.

Until then Motor Authority has a few more spy shots to share.
