To say that we were downright giddy when we came across an Alfa Romeo in our Flickr pool would be an understatement. When the automaker ceased importation of Italian iron into the U.S. in 1995 many a tear were shed by both owners and mechanics alike so it's a special treat to come across this pristine GTV6 owned by Flickr member charodeius.

The GTV6 came equipped from the factory with Recaro thrones aluminum calipers and a 2.5-liter V6. However the previous owner decided that a heart transplant was in order and opted to shove the highly sought-after 3-liter V6 under the hood. Charodelus plans on using the GT on the track and at some local autocrosses so he opted to upgrade the wheels with white SSR GT2s wrapped in Kumho Ecsta MXs.

With the return of Alfa Romeo to the States in the next couple of years we're looking forward to seeing more of the Italian marque on our roads but this one will tide us over in the meantime.
