With the Los Angeles Auto Show on tap for next week GM has conveniently issued a release highlighting the vehicles they're featuring at the show. Some like the new Saturn Vue and the Cadillac DTS-L and Buick Enclave we knew about already. Others such as the '08 Yukon Hybrid and Saturn Aura Green Line are products we knew were coming but didn't know which show they'd be officially revealed at. There's some other new stuff headed to the Golden State as special editions from Saab (60th anniversary) and Cadillac (Platinum Series) are slated for introduction. Finally vehicles like the Chevy Sequel Concept and the Chevy Equinox Fuel Cell are known commodities that will be featured in tree-huggy California because of their "green" credentials.

In any case the GMC Yukon Hybrid should be an important vehicle. Fuel economy on the jumbo-sized SUVs is obviously an issue to some and if the new hybrid powertrain really offers a tangible improvement over the standard versions then GM should have a very appealing product on their hands. The trucks themselves are already handsome and well-appointed and the hybridized versions (we expect badging visible from outer space) might help lessen that big-truck stigma that took hold over the last year or so. We'll see what happens. You can read the rest of the General's L.A. release list after the jump
