Rumors have begun to surface that Audi has big oil-burning plans for the Los Angeles Auto Show.
During a speech at the National Press Club in Washington DC Audi of America head Johan de Nysschen was asked about diesel offerings in the U.S.
His response divulged the automaker's intentions on releasing information about the availability of diesel powerplants at the L.A. Auto Show later this month.
We haven't been able to procure any additional information about it beyond the quote over at Fourtitude however if you follow the 'Read' link you can wade through a translated article on P.M. magazine's website. That information suggests that
as reported earlier Mercedes Benz's Bluetec diesel technology may find its way into Audi's of the future.
We'll be there to cover the event so as always watch this space.
